Accelerating Hashing Techniques using Golang Assembly

About This Webinar

This presentation will show how to use Golang assembly to create pure Go accelerated versions of common hashing techniques. The benefit of using Golang assembly is that it is not dependent on C compilation via e.g. cgo in order to have low level access. Performance improvements for both BLAKE2 and SHA256 will be shown for both Intel and ARM processors. Lastly, a tool called asm2plan9s will be introduced that was developed to help making writing assembly easier.
