PCRS Webinar - Implementing AIR and MART therapy in children (6+), young people and adults - Lunchtime Session

About This Webinar

This webinar will provide information and guidance on the implementation of anti-inflammatory reliever (AIR) and Maintenance and Reliever Therapy (MART) treatment options children and young people, as well as adults.

With new licenses coming in quickly for these inhaler treatments, it is important to implement them effectively, in the appropriate age groups.

Chaired by Katherine Hickman (our PCRS Executive Chair), she and guest speakers, Deborah Leese and Lisa Cummings, will discuss AIR and MART regimens in different age groups, using case studies to provide examples of where this has been successful and where they have been met with challenges. Using this discussion and the case studies, they will address the following topics:

- What AIR and MART are,
- The role they play in the new BTS/NICE/SIGN asthma guidance,
- The licenses currently available for AIR and MART therapies and in what age groups, and
- Implementing AIR and MART treatment regimen in adults, young people and children (6+).
