pv magazine Webinar | Data-driven monitoring starts at the inverter

About This Webinar

Initiative partner: Sungrow

Long known as the ‘brains’ of a PV system, inverters are still getting smarter. In this pv magazine Webinar, we will take a closer look at the features of Sungrow’s CX Series inverters. The product series takes an active role in operations and maintenance of a PV plant, with monitoring features and I-V curve diagnosis included.

Like so many other industries in 2020, operating a PV plant is all about data. With comprehensive performance data, owners and O&M service suppliers can quickly spot problems and ensure that technicians are able to work in the most efficient way.

And as the first component in a PV system where data on the energy being generated is gathered, the inverter has a key role to play here. The latest generation of inverters is increasingly packed with features to ensure the recording of clean, actionable data points, and to assist operators with troubleshooting and time-saving solutions for O&M.

In this pv magazine Webinar, we will focus on Sungrow’s CX Series. On hand to take us through the features of the inverter series will be Federico Feutcher, Product Manager for Sungrow Germany, and Timo Maier, Key Account Manager also for Sungrow in Germany. The two will outline the CX Series advantages, from the ease of installation through to the comprehensive features for monitoring and optimizing installation performance, which are key to Sungrow’s offering here.

The series is supplied with a data logger and additional monitoring components, as well as Sungrow’s iSolarcloud monitoring system. In the webinar, we’ll see hands-on examples of this software in action, as well as case studies. And further, participants will be treated to a demonstration of IV scanning and see first-hand how this can automatically identify problems with a system, saving many hours of technician’s time.

pv magazine Webinar content:
• Introduction to the CX Series
• Case studies from different application environments
• Monitoring hardware for the CX inverters
