She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1996 following the Bosnian Civil War. After graduating, from Ryerson University in Toronto with Degrees in Criminal Justice, Criminology and a Minor in Sociology, she went on to pursue various community outreach initiatives. She continued to pursue her education and career in law, specializing in Canada’s Immigration, Citizenship and Refugee law.

Dunya has a true passion for advocacy and family reunification. Dunya values client relationships and places importance on detailed and vigorous client representation. Dunya is particularly skilled in navigating all nuances and complexities of Canada’s Immigration programs.
