• Scott is a System Engineer and a Power Generation Industry Champion with OSIsoft / AVEVA. Before coming to OSIsoft in June 2018, Scott spent 30 years working for Power utilities. Throughout his career, Scott has used data-based analytics in assessing generation performance, M&D, reliability reporting, and dispatch and trading.

David Rodriguez

Sr. Analytics & Intelligence Engineer, EDF Renewables

• David works for EDF Renewables as a Sr. Analytics and Intelligence Engineer. He loves the challenge of building systems that turn raw data into actionable information, and figuring out ways to improve Operational Intelligence. As a remote worker, David enjoys traveling and working from many locations around the world.

Thomas Schnoor

Sr. Analytics & Intelligence Engineer, EDF Renewables

• Tom has worked exclusively with the PI system since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007. He has worked in almost every industry with several different companies like ExxonMobil, Hershey's and Eli Lilly. Tom has worked at EDF Renewables for 5 years and has a passion for the renewable energy sector. He enjoys creating elegant solutions to difficult problems and strives to create value using the PI system.

Aaron Larson

Executive Editor, POWER magazine

Aaron Larson joined the POWER team in September 2013 as an associate editor and was named executive editor in 2017. Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology and a master’s degree, specializing in finance. He spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program, advancing to Chief Petty Officer. He has worked at commercial nuclear, biomass, and coal-fired power plants, functioning in operations, maintenance, safety, financial, and management capacities. Aaron holds a Chief A Engineer boiler operator license in the state of Minnesota.
