This Friday we will be discussing user research through the game development process. Our special guests Anja Arhar & Nives Đorđević from Outfit7, will walk us through their game development process of the mobile smash hit My Talking Tom Friends. Over this one hour session, we will discuss their methods within the concept phase, pre-production phase and their iterative testing methods. This will all be within the context of the game My Talking Tom Friends and will include many unique insights and have plenty of time for questions.

Nives Đorđević is Research Strategist at Outfit7 (Ekipa2 d.o.o. subsidiary), one of the world’s fastest-growing multinational mobile-game companies, best known for its award-winning brand, Talking Tom and Friends. Being always interested in humans internal and social processes, she decided to study social pedagogy, where during her studies, she acquired diverse experience working with people with different life experiences. Being research-oriented, she continued her path in cognitive science, which enabled her interdisciplinary study of mentality and working on various research projects. A few years ago, she joined her curiosity and experience with what she enjoys - the ever-fascinating world of games! As a part of the user research team, Nives is responsible for the core user research cycle - from recruiting participants to reporting findings to the team.

Anja Arhar is Senior Research Strategist at Outfit7 (Ekipa2 d.o.o. subsidiary), one of the world’s fastest-growing multinational mobile-game companies, best known for its award-winning brand, Talking Tom and Friends. Anja has over 10 years of experience in the user research industry. She started her career in a research agency where she acquired her extensive knowledge of the topic, learned methodologies and techniques in both qualitative and quantitative areas. This was also the place where she found her passion in the application of user-centric approach at the early stage of product development. In the last several years, Anja was responsible for the set-up and growth of the user research team at Outfit7, working together to enable a smooth and joyful experience for the players of Outfit7's games.
