About the Speakers

Urologist - West Virginia University Medicine

Dr. Barnard is a native of Ripley, WV and attended West Virginia University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He remained at WVU for completion of his MD degree and Urology Residency at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He then attended the Eric S Wisenbaugh fellowship in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery and prosthetic urology at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Barnard is currently an Assistant Professor of Urology at West Virginia University where his practice focuses on complex male lower urinary tract reconstruction including urologic prosthetics as well as minimally invasive reconstruction of the upper urinary tract.
