Prof. Katayoun AM Kalhori

Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist and a Master of Science graduate in Laser in Dentistry. She was responsible for international affairs of laser research center of dentistry in Dental Faculty of Tehran university of medical sciences (2010-2014) and also educational manager of first fellowship course of laser in dentistry. She has already published 37 articles in international and national scientific journals and has presented more than 200 presentations in international and national congresses .she has also published 4 chapters in international books and 2 books in Farsi. She was an active member of national committee of laser in dentistry of Ministry of health and medical Education 2008-2012. She supervised 6 undergraduate and post graduate dentistry students’ thesis. She has received 3 country and university awards in research.

At the moment she is responsible for international affairs of IMLA (Iranian Medical Laser Association). She is a lecturer and Gold member of BILD (British Institute of Laser in Dentistry). She has been country representative of Iran in WFLD since 2010. She was a Member of Scientific advisory Committee of WALT (World Association for Photobiomodulation Therapy) 2016-2020 and currently communications director of WALT.
