Speaking in Use

English learners can often feel anxious and nervous when speaking English with others. This reaction is normally related to a lack of confidence using the proper terms, the fear of making a mistake, or an overall worry about not being understood by others.

Our session will address these and other similar issues with our language learners. We will explore simple strategies that allow the use of lesson content and speaking structures to build speaking confidence. By incorporating key vocabulary and speaking phrases, teachers can naturally support speaking in the classroom.
