In our endeavour to support your work as Editors and provide opportunities for the exchange of experiences and ideas, we are introducing Editors’ Briefings. This will be a series of virtual events exploring industry trends and best practice on a range of topics of direct relevance to our journal editors and editorial office staff and offering an opportunity for dialogue and debate. We are pleased to invite you to our first Editors’ Briefing, Peer Review Unpacked. This workshop consisted of a 60-minute presentation and Q&A with panellists from a variety of journal roles, followed by 30-minute breakout rooms on sub-topics exploring innovations and evergreen challenges in peer review. The breakout rooms were not recorded to preserve sensitive and journal-specific information and allow for open discussion.
