About This Webinar

What needs to be done to restore my property, and where do we start? How can we complete the work in a way that ensures it won’t fail again in 6–10 years? These are common questions we hear from historic property owners. As a design-build firm specializing in historic properties, we have seen everything under the sun when it comes to addressing building envelope failures, including the unintended consequences of well-intentioned repairs, and how small errors can lead to significant problems. Our firsthand experience helps us know how to successfully blend modern and traditional building science while addressing the needs of both the building and the property owner.

This presentation will highlight some of the common issues property owners encounter when addressing building failures, best practices for ensuring historic buildings perform as they should, and key things to look for when assessing the condition of your own property.
