Navantia
José Torres is a naval architect turned digital transformation enthusiast. With over two decades in shipbuilding and systems engineering, he now helps Navantia sail into the future—literally. From submarines to smart processes, he blends old-school engineering with cutting-edge tech like MBSE and Shipbuilding CAD. He has designed ships, led teams, managed configurations, and improved processes by introducing technology. When he's not not optimizing workflows, he's championing innovation in Spain’s maritime industry. He believes tech should empower people, not complicate things. Let’s build smarter, safer, and more sustainable ships—together.
