Panthers vs Storm Live Stream: Even Panthers 2003 premiership captain Craig Gower made that admission, speaking with Nine pre-match. He said that Penrith could not fall into the trap of over-simplifying their game plan despite the wet.

"I think it sort of suits the Melbourne team, the rain," Gower said.
"I think the Penrith team need to stick to their own game plan. If they start playing through the middle and Melbourne start to defence that defensive line, I think they're got to start to play with a little bit of catch-pass; try and get in between them and try to get a quick play-the-ball and play off the back of it.

"Melbourne are one of those teams, they're always thereabouts. With Cameron leading the way, they're a difficult team to overcome.

"If they can try to nullify his time, I think we're in with a big chance."
Storm legend and Nine commentator Billy Slater said that he gave Melbourne a genuine edge in the wet. He said that a Storm win may be the final tick for the retirement plans of Melbourne captain Cameron Smith, which remain unclear.

"My heart and my head are in the same place, I think the Melbourne Storm have got the experience on their side, they're got that mentally tough attitude that can adapt to the conditions," Slater said on Nine's grand final build-up.

"Is it Cameron Smith's last game? We don't know but it could possibly be. "If he holds up that trophy tonight, it just might make his decision."

The good news Ireland fans were hoping for was confirmed as captain Johnny Sexton has recovered form injury in time to start this fourth 2020 Six Nations fixture at fly-half.
Head coach Andy Farrell continues to drag Ireland out of the Joe Schmidt era by handing debuts to two Leinster players, Hugo Keenan and Will Connors, while Jamison Gibson-Park will hope for his first cap from a strong bench. Ireland found this fixture more difficult than they had predicted at last year’s Six Nations championship, eventually coming through with a 26-16 victory that they will hope to convincingly extend on in this edition. Coach Andy Farrell will be impressing on his team the importance of a big result here if they are to take a slim chance of winning the tournament as their points difference is low compared to the three teams above them right now. To that end, it should be all-out attack at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday and Ireland should come through the winners with a start of -25.
Ireland had won both their home fixtures, overcoming Scotland and Wales, but they did lose their last match against England at Twickenham. However, they will be expecting to get back to winning ways today as the Italians have not won a Six Nations contest since 2015.
Mark Pougatch presents all the action from Ireland vs Italy starting at 2.45pm on Saturday, October 23 on ITV and will be joined by Rory Best, Brian O'Driscoll and Maggie Alphonsi with commentary from Miles Harrison, Gordon D'Arcy and Danielle Waterman.
