In this session, participants will learn ways to facilitate both synchronous and asynchronous activities using Edwin. Attendees will discuss both teaching methods in the context of both online learning as well as in class facilitation.

Sherri has been an educator for 12 years and has experience teaching in all core subject areas, integrating subjects, and teaching through project-based learning in a K-19 environment. Sherri has provided professional development and support around technology integration for 8+ years as a member of a Learning Technologies Advisory Committee in K12 education and an Educational Technology Coach for the University of Calgary. She has 4+ years of experience in remote teaching and learning and taught grades 7-9 math using a flipped classroom format for 7 years. Sherri is a Google Certified Educator (Level 1) and consistently engages in ongoing personal and professional development in the pursuit of her passion for educational technology

Kathleen has over 30 years of teaching experience with the North Vancouver School District in British Columbia. Kathleen is an instructional leader and was most recently District Principal of Curriculum and Assessment, and the International Baccalaureate Programmes for the North Vancouver School District. Kathleen brings extensive experience in professional learning, instructional transformation, curriculum development, inquiry-based instruction, and innovative assessment practices. Kathleen is passionate about collaborating to redesign teaching and learning, and engaging students in deeper learning through the rich integration of technology and agency.
