About This Webinar

Local preservation programs play a critical role in shaping historic preservation policies, making it essential to engage not only elected officials but also key decision-makers such as planning commissioners, city staff, and community boards. Being proactive and having conversations about zoning, new development, and historic designation can help ensure that historic places are protected.

In this webinar, we’ll explore strategies for effectively communicating the value of preservation, building relationships with decision-makers, and making a compelling case for policies that support historic places.

Whether you’re a preservation professional, a community leader, or an engaged citizen, this session will provide practical tools to help you connect with local decision-makers and ensure historic places remain part of your community’s future.
