Alecia Wartowski joined the Women’s Center in January 2013. She previously worked as a legal aid attorney at Cabrini Green Legal Aid as Director of Family Law, and at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services as Director of the Guardian ad litem for Minors Program. She has also worked as a Program Manager and Director of Programs for youth serving organizations focused on after school and community programs for girls and youth of color.

Alecia received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin, her masters degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
