Dr. Daemon Jones graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Economics in 1992. She entered naturopathic medical school and graduated as one of top 10 in her class at University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine. She returned to her hometown of Washington DC to build her private practice, teaching, speaking and writing career.

She also is an authority on diet and nutrition. Dr. Dae creates simple recipes that simultaneously tantalize the taste buds and heal the body. She has many years of conducting cooking demonstrations and preparing tasty and nutritional food for audiences around the country from recipes designed to improve health. Her books, Daelicious! Recipes for Vibrant Living and Eat More Plants: Where science, flavor and health meet deliciousness (GR Publishing) were developed from her healthy cooking demonstrations. Her books emphasize how to use food as medicine to improve chronic illness.

As a speaker, Dr. Dae combines humor and non technical language to explain how our bodies work and the connection between our health and disease. She then shares practical tips about how people can improve their habits to transform themselves into being healthier and more energetic.
