Retired from the Dept. of Justice, May 2022, Special Operations Division, Digital Forensics Branch.

Program Manager - Responsible for the daily activities of the Digital Forensics Branch in the areas of device collection and analysis, vendor liaison, contracts, implementation of new program initiatives, deployment of services for large scale collections. Responsible for daily processing of IOS and Android devices.

Peter has been an Officer with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) since 2002. In November 2011, Peter had the honor of becoming a member of the CHP's Computer Crimes Investigation Unit as a digital forensic analyst and investigator. During his time with the unit, he was responsible for investigating computer crimes against the State of California ranging from network intrusions against State agencies to child exploitation cases. He also conducted digital forensics analysis for the CHP, Federal agencies, and other State agencies that fell within the CHP's jurisdiction. On October 2022, Peter retired from the CHP after 20 years of service and is currently working for MSAB at a technical specialist.
Peter currently holds computer forensic certifications through the California Department of Justice and other proprietary digital forensic software companies. As well as GIAC certifications from the SANS Institute.

Adam Firman boasts a distinguished career in law enforcement, with over 15 years’ experience as a police officer and proficiency in various digital forensic solutions. He is well-versed in industry standards related to digital forensics and has been a certified trainer since 2014. He is a frequent speaker at global industry events on digital forensic topics and has served as an expert witness in high-profile court cases. Adam is deeply committed to serving and protecting the community.
