More than 5 years of experience in the field of lactation, helping mothers realise their breastfeeding goals. I help address breastfeeding concerns through antenatal sessions. My primary goal is to initiate breastfeeding immediately after delivery with correct position and latching of the baby. I specialise in breastfeeding of caesarean section, twins, tandem nursing and problems of engorgement, flat or inverted nipples and babies with oral restrictions. I have experience in teaching how to feed a premature baby, and babies with special needs, post surgery as well as in NICU. I have also counselled mothers in relactation and babies via surrogacy to establish their breastfeeding bond. I specialise in timely transition to healthy complementary feeding, giving advice about infant nutrition and growth monitoring till age of 2 years. My main goal is to help mothers feel confident and achieve their breastfeeding goals even after rejoining work.
As a Mother Support Group leader, I am associated with the Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India-Maharashtra to protect, promote and support breastfeeding.
