Five Factors at Play in 2023 Grain Markets

The past year saw typical and even predictable factors moving grain prices, and some unpredictable ones downright shocked the markets. Many drivers in 2022 will still be in play in 2023—some may even run counter to their previous effects! In our first webinar of 2023, we will review these factors, discuss how they shaped corn, wheat, and soy complex markets and prices in 2022, and reveal how we believe they will influence prices in ahead.

Join us on Jan. 25 as we analyze our top macro factors likely to chart the course for grain markets in 2023, including monetary policy, the U.S. dollar, energy and biofuels, domestic and global grain stocks, and the global economy.

The outlook for producing, processing, and consuming grains that feed our nation and the world may be more correlated to these factors than ever before: Understanding their impact on prices and on each other will be essential to managing risk in an already difficult procurement and supply chain environment.
