Shawn is a 30+ year veteran of the futures and options industry and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. He is a past member of both the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Board Options Exchange and has worked for industry recognized firms including Chicago Research & Trading, HSBC Securities and Prudential Financial. In addition, Mr. Bingham co-founded Midwest Trading Partners, an NFA registered commodity trading advisory firm recognized as a “Top Ten Advisor” by Managed Accounts Reports (MarHedge) in 2006. In 2017 Mr. Bingham launched the commodity risk management consultancy ABSR Research and in January 2021 joined McKeany-Flavell as Director of Risk Management.

Offering clients over ten years of expertise and experience in the commodity and food sector, Nicole stays abreast of multiple commodity markets (cash and futures) and the ingredient markets they impact. Nicole regularly presents on sugar, corn, corn-derived product, soybean, and edible oils markets, and she is relied upon by the media for her commentary on those markets. She currently holds both Series 3 and 30 licenses for hedging commodities.
