Investment Markets March 2022 webinar - a briefing brought to you by Mattioli Woods

About This Webinar

The current political and economic landscape is not one that we could have envisaged even six months ago and it can be easy to feel overwhelmed.

This month’s Investment Markets webinar will see Senior Investment Strategist Tom Elliott providing a historical overview of the impact of conflict right through to today. Investment Manager Richard Smith will then review war’s impact on assets, briefly looking back but mainly in relation to the current situation in Ukraine while Chief Investment Officer Simon Gibson will finish the session covering where we are, our outlook and how we are investing looking ahead.

Chief Investment Officer
My first job was in the financial services profession more than 35 years ago and in 1998 I set up Thoroughbred Financial Services to advise mainly private clients on wealth management. The business merged with Atkinson Bolton Consulting in 2004, which was subsequently acquired by Mattioli Woods in 2013.

Alongside my role as Chief Investment Officer, I am part of the senior executive team for the Group and also Chair the Investment Committee and the Asset Allocation Committee. I regularly speak at national and international events, both within the profession and on behalf of Mattioli Woods. I have been leading our Investment Briefing webinars since we started them in April 2020. I am also a non-executive director at Amati Global Investors.
