Jill Roshto has over 29 years of experience in retail management, corporate sales, business ownership, fundraising and non-profit management. Roshto served most recently as the President/CEO of the Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation.

In her varied career, Ms. Roshto worked in multiple roles at Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, the LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute, LSU Foundation and as Executive Director of Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge. Ms. Roshto also owned The Keeping Room, a stationery and gift business.

Ms. Roshto has been very involved in community service, serving on numerous non-profit Boards and as an advisor to the LSU Delta Gamma Chapter.

Lynn Stevens is the Director of Workforce Development for Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana and has been serving the nonprofit sector for more than 20 years. In this position, Lynn develops, implements, administers, fundraises for and directs all activities related to Workforce Development practices, outreach initiatives and programming.

Lynn approaches all that she does with a passion to serve others and create positive change, and has used her experience and leadership skills to help guide and direct many types of local, regional and national organizations. During her career, Lynn has helped secure more than 50 million dollars for nonprofits to further enhance the communities in which she has lived.

Prior to her non-profit work, Lynn was employed in the corporate sector with Pepsico Brands for seven years. Lynn is actively involved with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Rotary Club of Bossier City and the Quota Club of Shreveport. She is also a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management, Grant Professionals Association and serves on the Louisiana Prison Reentry Implementation Steering Team Association and the City of Shreveport’s Mayor’s ADA Advisory Council.

Honors and awards include the Association of Fundraising Professionals Fundraising Executive of the Year, Bossier Chamber “Scott Croft” Spirit Award and Diplomat Team of the Year Award, Athena Award Nominee, SB Magazine’s Women in Business Recognition, Quota International District 21 All Star Award, and the Quota Club of Shreveport Volunteer of the Year. In 2018, Bossier City Mayor Lorenz Walker proclaimed April 28th as “Lynn Stevens Day”.

Lynn and her husband Aaron, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, have two children, Kaitlyn and Colin. In addition to her children, Lynn helps to take care of her elderly parents that live year-round with her family. Her hobbies include photography, being outdoors and completing her “bucket list”.

Mark has been a practicing attorney in Lake Charles since 1992. Since 2010 he has been the Executive Director of the SWLA Law Center, a 501C-3 Law Firm that provides legal representation to the under resourced on a sliding scale basis. The Law Center handles civil matters only. It does not handle criminal matters. The Law Center is a small shop whose annual operating budget is under Six Hundred Thousand Dollars. Mark wears many hats including point person for fund development. In this panel discussion, Mark will bring the perspective of being an AFP member in a small shop setting. Since he is in Lake Charles, he will also share his observations regarding disaster planning and recovery against the backdrop of Hurricanes Laura, and Delta.

Danny Fields, CFRE, is a certified fundraising executive, an experienced sales and business development professional, and a demonstrated organizational and community leader. He launched Daniel J. Fields Consulting, LLC in 2020 specializing in philanthropy advising, business development, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, and organizational leadership development.
He previously served nearly 14 years on the leadership team at Our Lady of the Lake Foundation, where he helped raise over $70 Million, primarily in support of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Danny led the Foundation’s efforts in Major Giving, Annual Giving, Planned Giving, Data and Stewardship. For 12 of those years, he also managed all national and local fundraising partnerships, programs, events, and activities associated with the local Children’s Miracle Network fundraising program at Our Lady of the Lake. Several of his fundraising campaigns have garnered national attention and awards. He also previously served as the Children’s Miracle Network South Region Hospital Relations Representative, serving 25 hospital foundations in LA, MS, AL, FL, GA, and Puerto Rico from 2014-2016.
He is the Past President of the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Baton Rouge Chapter. Danny is a graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s Leadership class and currently serves as Past Chair of the Leadership Baton Rouge Alumni Board. He is Past President and Public Relations chair of Cortana Kiwanis. He has served on the board of the Charles W. Lamar YMCA. In 2018, Danny was recognized as one of Baton Rouge’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and was also recognized by Cortana Kiwanis as Kiwanian of the Year. He was recognized with the Excellence in Sales and Marketing award by the Sales and Marketing Executives of Baton Rouge. Danny has been married to Melony Fields for 15 years and they have 2 daughters, Adeline and Noella. He enjoys running, swimming, biking, cooking, singing, traveling, and volunteering.
Danny started his career working for a local Baton Rouge business, River Road Coffee Company, where he managed a large territory that included over 130 clients, including restaurants, offices, and retail stores. Danny graduated in 2005 from Louisiana State University (LSU) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (concentration in Entrepreneurship). He obtained the CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) credential in 2019.
