This powerful online fundraising initiative will unite the Capital Region in support of the nonprofit community.

Ethan Bush is an accomplished 20-year non-profit leader, marketing, management and fundraising professional. He has led and managed teams with proven success developing and executing high-impact brand and fund development strategies raising over $100MM in support of healthcare, higher education, associations, and social and human service organizations.

Ethan will bring insightful analysis with an understanding of individual, corporate, charitable foundation support and current industry trends having led three transformational major and planned giving initiatives generating over $50MM.

He is an influential relationship manager skilled at building rapport and stewardship cultivating hundreds of donor prospect relationships with individuals and major corporations securing multiple, single 7-figure donations. He is a respected thought leader shaping strategy, building infrastructure and bringing expertise, innovation and leadership to multiple organization’s largest campaigns in respective history.

For the past decade, Ethan served as Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center (MBPCC) and Cancer Foundation (MBPCF), whose mission is to improve survivorship and lessen the burden of cancer through collaboration with hospital partners across southeast Louisiana and Mississippi.

Leading a development team and volunteers, Ethan led a comprehensive fundraising and fund development program as well as fostering an organizational-wide culture of philanthropy across all seven MBPCC locations. Additionally, he participated as a full member of the cancer center senior management team in an administrative capacity focused on hospital and physician relationships across the region.

Ethan a graduate of the 2012 class of Leadership Baton Rouge. While he is no longer under 40, in 2016 he was recognized as one Baton Rouge Business Report’s Top Forty Under 40.

Ethan is passionate about the needs of his community and believes philanthropy enhances what it is to be human through contributing to the well-being of others. With an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to help businesses and organizations achieve excellence, he will focus his future professional efforts helping success-motivated clients make critical business decisions and transition to new levels of success.

A native of Sulphur, Louisiana, Ethan holds a bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is married to Courtney; has one son, James, who is 11 years old and one daughter, Sarah, who is 6.

Jill Roshto has over 29 years of experience in retail management, corporate sales, business ownership, fundraising and non-profit management. Roshto served most recently as the President/CEO of the Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation.

In her varied career, Ms. Roshto worked in multiple roles at Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, the LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute, LSU Foundation and as Executive Director of Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge. Ms. Roshto also owned The Keeping Room, a stationery and gift business.

Ms. Roshto has been very involved in community service, serving on numerous non-profit Boards and as an advisor to the LSU Delta Gamma Chapter.
