Did graduation & postgraduation from LLRM Medical College ,Meerut.
Came to Roorkee to visit a family friend in th academic & beautiful town of Roorkee & fell in love with this town which has canal flowing through it & decided to settle down here.With her Ophthalmologist husband started own nursing home by the name of Abhilasha nursing home in 1986 & has been practicing since then.
She is founder president of FOGSI Roorkee & also past president of IMA Roorkee.
With keen interest in academics kept upgrading & added Ultrasound , laparoscopy & infertility services in the nursing home. Has conducted various workshops including IUI workshop, NDVH workshop ,colposcopy workshop etc in own nursing home.
A very spiritually inclined lady also has keen interest in social works .
With some like minded people started Roorkee beaufication organization which does various works like installing dustbin & plantation in various parts of Roorkee.
