Hardly imagine I am working in the paediatric field for more than 20 years!! I love working with kids ever since I was a student. Being a mother of two boys help me to become a more understanding paediatrician.

After graduation from the University, I worked in various paediatric units in Hong Kong and received training as a clinical fellow in the Division of Child Neurology of the Hospital for the Sick Children, University of Toronto. Experience of 10 years working in the Child Assessment Service of Department of Health helped me in building a strong foundation in Developmental Behavioural Paediatrics. In 2012, I helped setting up and being the in-charge of the Child Development and Assessment Centre of St Paul’s Hospital. I am also appointed as Honorary Assistant Professor of Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, University of Hong Kong.

I have board interest in various field in Developmental Behavioural Paediatrics. I published my research study ‘Sleep Problems of Children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders- correlation with parental stress’ in ‘Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology’, a renowned International scientific journal. I had the honor to be invited to present in various Joint Developmental Paediatrics Conferences in different cities in China from 2005, in the Sleep Symposium 2008 hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, also in the World Sleep 2011 cum 36th Japanese Society of Sleep Research. In recent years, I am more enthusiastic in parental education in promoting awareness of common developmental problems and supporting these children positively. It is excited to start my own practice and set up the Dr. Doo Child Development and Assessment Centre. With my knowledge and experience, I wish to serve the family in needs.
