After Tessa's welcome, David will be looking at licenses and tenancies (including sham licenses), the difference between ASTs, ATs, common law and protected tenancies and how this affects the proceedings you use. NB It will be mostly assumed in subsequent talks that we are dealing with an AST as they are the most common tenancy type.
