VASEA Webinar: American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA - aka: Stimulus 3.0)

This 2-hour course will be a deep dive into the many tax provisions contained within the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. There is a LOT that you need to know as you are meeting with your clients and advising / planning for tax year 2021 and beyond. In addition, there are two items that retroactively cover tax year 2020. We will take a deep dive and make sure you know what you need to know to be successful this season!

This law contains a lot of provisions that impact taxes as well as businesses and individuals more broadly. Thankfully most of the impact is for tax year 2021 (and, in some cases, beyond). There are however, two items that will impact tax year 2020 returns which you need to know about!

As always, we guarantee that you'll get value and learn new and relevant items to gain new knowledge that you can practically use in your business. If you can't make it live, register anyway and get the recorded version after completion.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION UPDATE: By popular request, we are adding an optional bonus session at the end of this webinar free of charge. After we complete 100 minutes on ARPA, the last 20 minutes of this webinar (3:40pm-4:00pm ET) will be an overview of recent Virginia Tax Updates impacting this season, including PPP exclusion (how to handle), unemployment, conformity, etc. This session will be optional and does not count towards the 2.0 CPE/CE credit requirement.
