PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The student will learn how to properly identify a qualifying child or a qualifying relative. The rules for each will be reviewed as well how to determine the appropriate dependency exemptions. Special attention will be given to understanding how to handle divorced or separate parents and situations where multiple taxpayers support a dependent.

Refund Policy
Refunds will be honored if written notification is received at the Administrative Office up to 5 days prior to the date of the course. A processing fee of $25 will be deducted from the refund. If the total registration fee was less than $25, no refund will be granted. Transferring the registration to another individual is allowed up to 5 days prior to the program date. Transfers or cancellations within 5 days of the course will not be accepted. “No Shows” forfeit their fees. Cancellation
VASEA reserves the right to cancel any program or course for circumstances that are not under direct control of VASEA. If a course or program is cancelled, registrants will be notified via email at the address listed on their registration form.
