About this Seminar
This course will provide for a discussion on the overarching roles and responsibilities of tribal councils and boards of directors, the art of decision-making; the decision-making hierarchy, legal basics of governance, tribal sovereignty, sovereign immunity, legal liability, standard rules of liability, business judgment rule, loyal director rule, rule of law and ultra vires rule; and knowing your powers; and rules of parliamentary procedure that work for tribes.
