On-demand – Part 1: Providing a healthy environment for rail passengers

About This Webinar

The most important aspect of regaining passenger confidence is ensuring that stations and trains are safe and hygienic spaces. Also important is ensuring that passengers are made aware that this is the case. This webinar session, the first part of the series ‘The power of digital to inspire rail passenger confidence’ looked at measures being taken to directly improve hygiene in stations and on trains.

What digitally enabled technologies and strategies are operators, rolling stock manufacturers, and innovative solution providers, using and developing? Topics covered included ways to identify unhealthy individuals, ventilation, sanitisation, and automated cleaning.

The audience heard from senior figures at the International Union of Railways (UIC), Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), Alstom and Industrial IoT experts Advantech.

The on-demand webinar will be made available soon.
