Robert Hormuth is Corporate Vice President, Architecture and Strategy of the Data Center and Embedded Solutions Group at AMD.  Robert has 33+ years in the computer industry, joining AMD in 2020 after 13 years with Dell, 8 years with Intel and 11 years at National Instruments.  At AMD Robert is charged with creating a long-term system level vision for DESG and identify the technical requirements/implications to the DESG portfolio. 

Robert’s experience includes IO peripheral designs, x86 system design, BIOS, firmware, application software, and FPGA/ASIC design.  Robert has a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and currently holds 24 patents with 20+ pending.

Corporate Vice President of Data Center GPU and Accelerated Processing, AMD
Bradley McCredie joined AMD in June of 2019. He is the Corporate Vice President of Data Center GPU and Accelerated Processing at AMD. Prior to that he was the Vice President of IBM Power Systems Development, and IBM Fellow. He was at IBM since 1991.

In his current position as Corporate Vice President of Data Center GPU, Brad oversees the global development and delivery and sales of data center GPU products. His responsibilities span system hardware, software, solutions, and ecosystem development, incorporating the latest technology advancements to support clients changing business needs.

Brad’s role at AMD also includes the development and optimization of platforms consisting of AMD CPU, GPU’s and software platforms. These platforms are design to drive maximum performance and value for clients through optimization of all major system components.

Brad joined IBM in 1991, focusing on electromagnetic design and electronic packaging for IBM’s mainframe system then later moving to Power Systems Development. Since moving to Power Systems in 1996, Brad has held a variety of technical and executive leadership roles. Staring with his initial work on the POWER2 processor, he continues to drive Power Systems development through POWER9.

Brad holds a BS, MS, and PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois.

Global HPC Solutions Director, AMD
Brock has over 25 years of experience in high performance computing and industry. He focuses on expanding the number of people using HPC for innovation, creating win-win partnerships, and driving the combination of hardware and software into solutions. In addition to his role at AMD, Brock is the Executive Director and board member of HPCng.org and also sits on the management team of the Singularity project. Prior to joining AMD, Brock was at Intel Corporation for 20 years.
