Dr. Bosinger is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Emory University, and is director of the Genomics Core at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center. His research focus is HIV pathogenesis and vaccines in the non-human primate models. His laboratory has recently developed single-cell RNA pipelines and technologies for vaccine research. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Dr. Bosinger’s laboratory has been using single-cell RNA-Seq to understand SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis and develop immunotherapies in the non-human primate model.
