Curatorial Practice Master Course Coordinator
Art historian, Curator, Educator. Founder (with Stefania Galegati and Davide Ricco) of the Palermo Contemporary Summer School in 2016. From 1998 to 2000 she has worked as resident curator at the Palazzo delle Papesse in Siena. Since 2001 she has been an independent curator. A selection of recent projects includes: Arte e Vita: piante, oggetti, autobiografie, dialoghi, piccole comunità, Workshop with Chiara Camoni, in Scuola Popolare, Villa Romana, Firenze 2020; mentor of Give me an (art)object so I can find my position and continue to move, Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella (autunno 2016); Permanent refugee, saggio in catalogo, Aleksander Duravcevic, Montenegro pavilion, Venice Biennial 2015; curator of Arte torna arte, Galleria dell'Accademia, Firenze maggio/dicembre 2012.

Professor and Curator
Born in 1982, he has become a prominent figure in recent years in the contemporary art scene, focusing on video art and audiovisual exploration. As the curator for Lo Schermo dell'Arte in Florence and the Foundation In Between Art Film, he collaborated with Alessandro Rabottini in 2022 for the highly esteemed Penumbra exhibition during the 59th Venice Biennale, dedicated to the world of moving images. Within Lo Schermo dell’Arte, Bigazzi also initiated the VISIO Production Fund, supporting the production of audiovisual works through open calls. Among his recent exhibitions is Ali Cherri's ongoing Dreamless Night, displayed until January 14, 2024, at GAMeC in Bergamo. Alongside his role as an educator at IED Firenze, teaching in the Master's Program in Curatorial Practice, he was recognized as Curator of the Year by Artribune in 2023.
