First Grade Teacher, Idaho STEM Action Center
I have taught in the Lewiston School District for 7 years in K-1. I have been a part of the Idaho STEM Action Center and presenting for them the last two years as well as presenting for our local school district. Currently, I am on the STEM Action Center Leadership Advisory Committee and First Grade Math Team for the Lewiston School District. I always enjoy opportunities to share my passion for teaching students STEM-related skills that keep them motivated and engaged.
Elementary School Teacher
Sheila teaches in Lewiston and has taught 29 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Reading minor from Lewis Clark State College and her Masters of Education in Literacy and Technology from University of Idaho. She has been a member of the LEA for 20 years. Through the years she has taught in grades 1-4. Sheila loves teaching and learning with 1st Graders. She has a passion for integrating technology and STEM into learning and enjoys helping others. When she isn't teaching, she is reading, crafting and spending time with her family.
