ICCFA Webinar Series #20: Emotional First Aid Skills in the Arrangement Conference

About This Webinar

Heather Welborn will be presenting on the use of Emotional First Aid skills in the Arrangement Conference. Emotional First Aid, or EFA, are practical skills that any person can use to help another person through times of trauma, stress, and crisis to help produce better coping outcomes in the future. These skills can be used anytime, anywhere, by anyone. She will walk you through a basic understanding of EFA, why funeral professionals should be fluent in EFA, and teach you how to seamlessly incorporate EFA skills in your communication with your families. You will go home with new tools in your funeral professional toolbox and have the information to share your newfound knowledge with your own coworkers back home.
