About This Webinar

The UCAT exam is very different to the UMAT (the previous exam)—not only in its format and the types of questions it asks, but also in terms of how much time you are given to complete it. In the past, students had an average of 80.6 seconds per UMAT question (134 questions over 3 hours). Now, you can have as little as 14.2 seconds per UCAT question (for Section 4).

At its worst, this means that candidates only have 17.6% of the time they had for solving UMAT questions to solve UCAT questions. Put another way, candidates need to solve UCAT questions up to 5.6x faster in order to finish the test in time. The rigid time restraints mean that students need to be far more familiar with the techniques for solving UCAT questions correctly and quickly if they wish to remain competitive.

To help students succeed, iCanMed has broken down 100,000 UCAT exam questions to identify the key question types that are asked every year. By analysing trends and gaining a full understanding of how the exam works, we've developed rock-solid preparation strategies and plans that enabled our iCanMed students to claim 71% OF ALL 96TH-99TH PERCENTILE RESULTS on the 2020 UCAT.

In this 2.5-hour webinar, we will:

1. Discuss the key 'speed bumps' that 2020 candidates experienced in Section 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the UCAT
2. Teach proven ways to significantly boost your question-solving speed without reducing your accuracy
3. Break down the question types found in Section 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the 2020 UCAT exam
4. Perform a live demonstration of how each question type can be best solved
Provide a timeline to maximise your UCAT preparation during the summer break
