About This Webinar

Presenter: Michael Pershan (@mpershan), creator of MathMistakes.org.

Can you get better at teaching from your bedroom? MathMistakes.org was created to help teachers get better at identifying and responding to student misconceptions. So, does it work? In this session we’ll analyze posts and comments from the site in order to answer this question. My preliminary answer is that there are important ways in which the site has failed so far, but there are exciting opportunities ahead.

We are math teachers who share what we've learned, cause we don't want our classes to suck the energy from students. Professional development among friends, not just colleagues. Fun! Immediately useful! Interesting!
