Mathematical work is better done as playful enquiry, and mathematical communities thrive when we communicate and build on each other’s
contributions. In this seminar hear how improvisational theater can support mathematics through developing these skill-sets. It will use a case study of work with honours Maths students at the University of Arkansas to talk about benefits, challenges and the practicalities of this approach, as a springboard to discussing further possibilities with the Global Maths network.
