Come and see how Google Documents can transform your mathematics class and inspire your students!

This session is for teachers that are new to Google Documents as well as experienced users. I will be showcasing many examples of my documents as well as student work.

I will explain how to use the different Google Document software platforms for project work and collaboration in the mathematics classroom. I will share my technology based projects that encourage students to be creative and allow students to differentiate their own learning. I will also show how you can use these student generated projects as curriculum (and even homework) for future students.

Global Math Department

The Global Math Department began as a group of teachers who knew each other through Twitter, math education blogs and Twitter Math Camp. Since 2012 The Global Math Department community has grown into a multi-faceted group of math educators who love to share their ideas related to teaching and learning mathematics. We recognize that as educators we are charged with promoting equity and access within mathematics instruction. In addition, we believe it is crucial that teachers be provided with quality resources and ideas that they can use immediately with their students.
