About This Webinar

Max Ray (@maxmathforum) presenting. http://mathforum.org/blogs/max/

Come learn about the phenomenon that's been slowly and non-virally sweeping the mathtwitterblogosphere. How have teachers been using "I Notice/I Wonder" to launch problems, wrap up projects, and prepare for state tests? And how can we use students' noticing and wondering to learn more about their thinking, design effective follow-ups, and plan our interventions? We'll look at actual student noticing and wondering from different age groups and experience levels and talk about how a careful look can help us anticipate students' needs and more effectively tailor our responses.

We are math teachers who share what we've learned, because we don't want our classes to drain the energy from students. Professional development among friends, not just colleagues. Fun! Immediately useful! Interesting!
