CRIN: Acceleware Breakthrough Dialogue

About This Webinar

Technical Stream | In partnership with Konstruct Digital, Energy Now and Empowering Pumps & Equipment

This panel will reflect on the value of CRIN as a “network of networks” and how it can help to accelerate development and adoption of technology through mobilizing the hydrocarbon innovation ecosystem. It is a follow up to the Breakthrough Dialogue held last year with Acceleware, which focused on the requirements for accelerating novel hydrocarbon production technologies.

Mike Tourigny, VP Commercialization of Acceleware, will share Acceleware’s story of how engaging with CRIN helped open up doors that led to new opportunities, new collaborators, and how it intends to use CRIN going forward to continue work and increase the pace of transformative technology adoption within industry. From their participation in CRIN’s innovation road show in Ottawa in May 2019, to the June 2019 Breakthrough Dialogue co-hosted by Acceleware and CRIN, the panel will explore what value has and can be created through a self-led approach to leveraging the network of networks.

Caralyn Bennett of GLJ, a newly appointed board member of Acceleware, will join the panel to share her perspective on the progress Acceleware has made through this approach over the last 18 months, her reflections on CRIN through her involvement in other CRIN initiatives and collaborations, as well as her own view of the role of consultancies within the broader ecosystem and how to effectively use CRIN as a tool to advance technologies.

Matt McCulloch, the CRIN Novel Hydrocarbon Recovery theme lead and panel host will also share the different ways CRIN has been used to bring unique value to different stakeholders, as well as what each stakeholder group can do to help the technology acceleration process. He will also unveil the new CRIN report titled “Accelerating Novel Hydrocarbon Recovery Technology”, which has lessons for all involved in the advancement of clean technology in the hydrocarbon sector.”

In this webinar you will learn:
• How CRIN can be used as a tool to help advance solutions and technologies
• Real and recent examples of how CRIN has added value to its members
• What each stakeholder group can do to help the technology acceleration process
