Lisa R. Mitchell is a Global Business Executive with nearly 20 years of experience in financial services. Her roles have included Vice President and Manager of International Personal Banking (IPB) at Wells Fargo, where she managed a $500 million dollar portfolio, and was responsible for the overall strategic direction of the business, including managing the operations globally, directing staff in Asia, Europe, and the U.S., and overseeing banking relationships of high net worth customers in 70 countries. Before joining Wells Fargo, Lisa worked for Citigroup and held positions in the mortgage, consumer, and expatriate banking divisions.

Most recently, Lisa lived in Shanghai, China, where she served as Director of Educational Investment of ELS, part of Berlitz, the leading global leadership training, and education company. At ELS she focused on International Assignment Preparation and delivered Leadership, Soft Skills, and Cross-Cultural training to senior executives in the APAC Region.

Regarded as an “influencer" on global financial management, Lisa is a frequent speaker on financial services and has written several articles on global financial services and the international assignee and expatriate community. Her work has appeared in Global Mobility, Expat Exchange, and The Huffington Post. Lisa has spoken at the National FAWCO (The Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas) conference, several Global HR conferences, and the Global Summit of Women conference in Hanoi, Vietnam and Beijing, China. She has also presented before the American Chamber of Commerce and International Professional Women’s Society in China.

Her 1st book, Global Money Matters: A Guide for Expatriates, World Travelers, and Global Digital Nomads To Make Smart Money Choices While Living A Global Lifestyle” will be published in 2016, and she publishes a website on financial topics for people Living A Global Lifestyle.

Lisa has traveled to over 30 countries. Lived in London, Shanghai, and Ho Chi Min City, and studied Spanish, French, Japanese, and Mandarin. Lisa holds an MBA from Thunderbird, The School of Global Management, and a BA in Political Science from The State University of New York at Albany.
