We are so honored to begin Walking Through Colossians with, Bonnie Baskill — who also happens to be Rebecca Spooner’s mom .
Bonnie is a mother of six and a grandmother of eighteen, and a truly wonderful mom, friend, and spiritual leader. She has a deep heart for the Lord and a life marked by faithful service, even when walking through the fire.
Over the years, Bonnie has faced seasons that would have shaken many. When her youngest daughter was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension at just three years old and given a very limited life expectancy, Bonnie’s faith became an anchor for her family through some of their darkest days. Through long hospital stays, uncertainty, and ongoing challenges, she continued to trust the Lord and walk faithfully with Him.
Today, her daughter is 22 years old, creatively gifted, and living as a testament to God’s sustaining grace. And through it all, Bonnie continues to testify daily to the goodness and faithfulness of God.
We are so grateful to learn from her as she leads us through the book of Colossians.
