Covering fields as varied as product design, CNC machining, reverse engineering and inspections has enabled him to gain expertise in all areas of the manufacturing cycle. From mold making to aerospace to artistic set design, these roles have taken him from South Africa to the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada and the United States.

Sean Manzanares is a senior manager for Autodesk and is responsible for driving the market development of the design and manufacturing software portfolio for North America.

Sean brings over 30 years of engineering and industry experience in the mechanical design sector. He has held many design and engineering positions in multiple commercial and government organizations, including Storage Technology (Oracle), Sundstrand (UTC), General Atomics and NASA (Johnson Space Center) in the U.S.

Sean's experience in the engineering arena positioned him for his current charter in the CAD industry, where he has led a successful tenure of over 25 years in leadership positions at Siemens, Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks and now Autodesk.

As a member of the Autodesk strategy team, Sean's passion is ensuring manufacturers are positioned to understand and take advantage of the future of making opportunities today.
