Autoimmune Challenges: Making The Case for Botanical & Detox Models as the First Line of Treatment*

About This Webinar

With the development of new therapies such as pharmaceuticals and peptides, botanical and detox models for autoimmune concerns can often get overlooked and even ignored. What about the side effects of these modern therapies? Dr. Decker Weiss takes a look at all three, compares the potential benefits versus risks, and justifies why he believes botanical and detox models should still be considered as a first-line therapeutic choice for certain autoimmune challenges.*

This webinar is for healthcare professionals and students only.

Dr. Weiss became the first Cardiologist as a Naturopathic Physician, completing non-invasive cardiovascular hospital-based training in the Columbia Hospital system, the Arizona Heart Institute, and the Arizona Heart Hospital.

Dr. Weiss kept privileges at the Arizona Heart Hospital, while opening the breakthrough Scottsdale Heart Institute, where he helped thousands of patients reduce medication safely, eliminate the need for angioplasty, ablation, bypass surgery, and reverse heart disease. The International Association of Health Care Practitioners and the International Association of Cardiologists named Dr. Weiss, a “Leading Physician in the World” in 2012; a distinction given to under 1000 physicians each year. Dr. Weiss shifted his focus in 2014 to inflammation, genetics, and the science of intractable conflict, as he joined Artis International as a Senior Fellow and Director of their Center for Health and Medicine and launched Peace Possible™, a non-profit organization dedicated to researching the neurochemistry of radicalization, cycles of poverty, cycles of violence, and anti-microbial resistance. Dr. Weiss has presented original research to cardiologists, researchers, and government officials in 15 countries including University of Oxford’s Center for the Resolution of Intractable Conflict and Cleveland Heart Lab.
