As Co-Founder and CEO of Reliance Partners, Andrew has been an integral part of the company’s growth since its formation in 2009. With more than 18 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, Andrew has specifically focused on the transportation and logistics sector throughout his career, advising large fleets across the country on all matters related to risk management and insurance for the trucking industry.

Chad is President of Reliance Partners where he works closely with teams throughout the organization. He joined Reliance Partners in August 2015 after 10 years in freight brokerage at Access America Transport and Coyote Logistics. Chad led AAT as President from 2010 until its merger with Coyote in 2014. He continued as President of Brokerage of the combined entity prior to joining Reliance Partners.

Thom Albrecht is a 32-year veteran of the transportation space and served most recently as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer with Celadon Group. Prior to Celadon, Albrecht’s experience included transportation consulting, equity research, and M&A. He previously served as President of Sword & Sea Transport as well as Managing Director at BB&T Capital Markets. During the course of his career, Mr. Albrecht has worked closely with motor carriers, freight brokers, freight forwarders, shippers and equipment companies. He is widely considered one of the leading analysts in the sector. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The Journal of Commerce, FreightWaves, Logistics Management, and Transport Topics. Mr. Albrecht has been recognized as a Wall Street Journal All-Star among the publication’s analyst rankings and he was also recognized by Institutional Investor as the top analyst in his space among regional and boutique firms, both on multiple occasions.

Laura Ann (LA) joined the fast-growing team at Reliance in 2015 as Vice President of Operations, managing HR and Finance. Over the years, her role has expanded with the agency’s explosive growth. As COO of Reliance Partners, LA works cross-departmentally, driving the agency toward its mission/vision to be the leader in the transportation and logistics insurance industry and a top workplace in the country. Prior to joining Reliance Partners, L.A. served as Vice President of Risk Management for Thompson Appalachian Hardwoods where she founded a trucking company and freight brokerage.

Ronald joined Reliance in 2017 as Chief Commercial Officer, where he oversees non-fleet and freight brokerage sales. With more than 20 years of experience in freight brokerage, he brings a strong understanding of the transportation and logistics industry to the team. Prior to Reliance, Ronald worked at Access America Transport from 2007-2014, where he led the team as Executive Vice President. As a result of AAT’s merger with Coyote he joined the Coyote team as Executive Vice President in 2014. Ronald served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and attended Chattanooga State, where he majored in business management.
