About This Webinar

Students will learn and practice in-session skills to better manage emotional distress during the pandemic. Students will also better understand common concerns such as racing thoughts, loneliness, low motivation, and other issues related to anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. The session will be an affirming and empowering space for students of diverse identities.

Michael Baglieri is a Doctoral Intern with the Counseling and Psychological Services at FGCU. His philosophy to helping people survive, revive, or thrive is simple: seek first to understand. His research and applied interests include the areas of men and masculinities, social justice and multiculturalism, romantic relationships, and organizational psychology. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University. He is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology at The University Kansas. In his free time, if Michael isn’t enjoying wholesome Italian cooking with his family in NJ, he’s planning his next adventure. Some of his favorite travels have been to South Africa, Croatia, and Norway.
