About This Webinar

This half-day session is designed for users to master the process of harvesting data from communications, collaboration, and storage solutions into Exterro's e-discovery platform. Attendees will understand the objectives of running both Quick and Deep Scan assessments, data collection jobs, and on-demand data ingestion jobs. Attendees will understand which Exterro capabilities match their collection scenarios.

Please note that this is a bring-your-own-device training session, and attendees will be asked to connect to our cloud-based training system to participate in the training. No product download is required. This course will cover:

-Preparing to Add Data: Deciding the method (assessment, collection, or ingestion) and the preparations needed to add data to a matter.
-Creating an Assessment Job: Utilizing Exterro's connectors to run an early case assessment job–Deep Scan or Quick Scan–to collect metadata from a variety of data sources (such as Microsoft 365, Google, network shares, user machines).
-Creating a Collection Job: Utilizing Exterro's connectors to collect metadata and files from a variety of data sources (such as Microsoft 365, Google, network shares, user machines).
-Creating an ESI Ingestion Job: Loading data not collected using Exterro.
-Using Processing Filters: Determining which processing filter options to enable when running an assessment, collection, or ingestion job.
-Completing the Collection, Assessment, Ingestion (CAI) Certification: Attendees will have the opportunity to become certified!

Working for organizations such as Veritas, Symantec, Mimecast, Actiance, Smarsh, Zix, and now Exterro, he has experience with nine different eDiscovery platforms working in highly regulated verticals such as Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, and Manufacturing. Rob is also currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Cybersecurity with a specialization in AI.
