Yagmur Sahin is a Privacy & Data Protection Consultant and a Turkish-qualified lawyer with dual MSc degrees in Cyber Security, based in London. Throughout her career, she has developed and implemented compliance projects across startups, mid-sized firms, and international companies, specialising in Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs), Privacy by Design (PbD), and offering strategic advice on privacy risk management and data protection. At Data Privacy Simplified, she leads a dedicated team of data protection professionals and supports clients with the complexities of PETs and AI Privacy. Yagmur is a vocal advocate for demystifying privacy and data protection, making it accessible and understandable through a human-centric approach. She also holds a CIPP/E certification from the IAPP and actively shares her insights as a public speaker at events and on her LinkedIn and Medium blog platforms.

Laura is a data privacy and compliance specialist with a European and Middle Eastern focus, running a UK/EU business and co-owning a Saudi focussed data protection consultancy. She tutors and develops training with nationally recognised organisations and holds certifications such as CIPP/E, BCS Data Protection Practitioner, and Highfield IG Practitioner, while recently starting her IAPP AIGP journey. Drawing on her background in HR, recruitment, and compliance, Laura takes a people focused approach, blending practical know-how with a solid theoretical foundation. With experience in various sectors, including healthcare and education, she helps businesses protect their data while keeping operations running smoothly.
